Thanks to Saint Joseph’s University (SJU), and their Philadelphia Service Immersion Program, we were blessed to have an eager group of college freshman helping us throughout the past week. Their hard work and dedication transformed the hallways of Our Mother of Sorrows/ St. Ignatius School.
SJU students helped us to complete a number of projects including helping teachers get their classrooms ready, assisting our maintenance men with last minute landscaping, and ensuring that when our students walk through the door in a little over a week’s time their school is beautiful!
Our University and school partnerships are vital for our school, and have been essential in helping us during our big move! We are so grateful for the work that the SJU students put into transforming our school.
